Kayleen Ball
Oral Health Therapist with Extended Scope
Kayleen has always had a keen interest in teeth from an early age. Her journey began in a denture clinic as an acrylic dental technician, later moving into a larger- scale lab. After having her son, she transitioned into dental assisting before deciding to further her studies in Oral Health Therapy and Hygiene.
She completed her qualifications at Charles Sturt University at the Wagga Wagga campus and went on to work in the Public Dental System, gaining valuable experience under various dental specialists. Kayleen later completed her Adult Restorative Extended Scope at the University of Sydney.
Originally from Port Macquarie, Kayleen has strong ties to Tamworth, where she was born. With over 13 years of experience in the dental field, she has worked across all areas of dentistry, including shadowing Maxillofacial Surgeons, Paediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, and Periodontists.
Kayleen particularly enjoys paediatric dentistry and orthodontics. She believes prevention is better than cure and focuses on equipping patients with the knowledge they need to maintain a healthy smile. Her goal is to abolish the “hate the dentist” mentality by creating a fun and comfortable environment for all her patients.
Outside of work, Kayleen enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, cooking, and playing golf. Her beloved pets include Archie the horse, Apollo the dog, and two South American parrots, Maverick and Sonic.
Kayleen is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
